Close the bottom shutter of the bean bin and grind the remaining coffee beans. In this step, you must grind all the remaining coffee beans as much as possible to ensure that there are no coffee beans left on the bottom of the bean bin and on the grinding blades.

Turn off the switch of the coffee grinder.

Remove the bean bin.

Remove the coffee beans from the bean bin and put them in a sealed bag. Be sure to put the unground coffee beans in a sealed bag and store them in a cool, dark place to ensure the freshness of the coffee beans. Never put coffee beans in the refrigerator.

If this is a manual coffee grinder, you need to use a spatula to clean the grinding blades. This step is the most important because you will clean the remaining coffee powder inside the entire grinder. You will need a dedicated spatula to thoroughly grind the inside of the machine (don't use the toilet spatula!!). The handle should be located above the grinding blade and just seal the interface connecting the bean bin. Remember to clean up the coffee powder that you squeeze out, otherwise it will be everywhere.

Through this step, you can clean up the fine coffee powder involved in the coffee machine. After that, you need to put the bean container back, let the grinder idle for a few seconds, and repeat this step until the coffee machine is completely clean.

If this is an automatic coffee grinder, then you need a vacuum cleaner. Remember to use a tubular joint to clean the grinder. Reinstall the bean bin and aim at the powder outlet to suck out the remaining coffee powder. During this process, ensure that the grinder is open. Keep vacuuming until you see the metal fittings inside the powder outlet and there is no coffee powder sticking to it. Remember, some household vacuum cleaners are not very effective, it is best to use commercial high-power vacuum cleaners.
